Aloha All Around

Aloha is all around and within. Between you and the tree, between the tree and the sky, in the ocean, inside a rock, in outer space. Aloha is not an energy we manipulate. It is not something to command or control. You cannot get better or worse at Aloha. Aloha is Aloha and either you are in harmony with it or you are in harmony with something else.  The difficult part to understand is that while you can experience an absence or distance from Aloha it is always with you. Stranger still is that you are Aloha, but you think you are the many different roles, parts and identities you have learned in this life.

You don’t need to get rid of your various parts to experience and live from Aloha. They can, and do, coexist. It’s a question of awareness and the preference of awareness. Once you become aware of your Aloha self and realize it is preferable to, or at least takes the edge off, all your other identities, then it takes training and discipline to stay with it.

Jesus the Christ said the Kingdom of God is at hand and within. The Buddha became the loving kindness and compassion of nirvana while in a body; he didn’t have to die to be in nirvana. Both Buddha and Jesus revealed heaven is both here all around you and within. They had different approaches to actualizing and integrating the Divine, but the goal is the same; to be in the world and of the world, but also of heaven and your true divine Aloha nature.

Jesus also said that God is love, but not a human romantic or preferential love, instead he spoke of an unconditional love. Aloha is unconditional love. Coincidentally, or not, the word for God in the Aramaic language is Aloha, Alaha, Aloho depending on the dialect.

I was taught that Aloha means Alo – to come face to face or be in the presence of Ha – Divine Holy Spirit. So Aloha also means to be in the presence of, or to be the presence of, the Divine Holy Spirit.

When you go through your day notice and/or sense the presence of Aloha all around you.

Also realize that you cannot feel what you don’t have so the ability to feel Aloha is the door to being aware of the Aloha that is you. Once you crack open the door of your Aloha awareness you will be able nurture it and let it grow. This is the path of Aloha.
